The Central Bank of Colombia published External Regulatory Circular DOAM-148, updating operational procedures for the central bank’s operations used to regulate liquidity in the economy (Subject 10 of the Department of Operations and Market Analysis Manual). A new numeral adopted under the Board of Directors’ External Resolution No. 3 will apply from 1 August 2025. The central bank indicated that the changes will be incorporated into the text of the circular on the effective date. The notice is addressed to the central bank’s head office and branches, the Financial Superintendence of Colombia and its supervised entities, the Colombia Stock Exchange, the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, and the securities-market self-regulator.

Central Bank of Colombia publishes amendments to procedures for liquidity-regulating operations effective 1 August 2025
