The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) published a policy statement amending its accepted languages for prospectuses, broadening the circumstances in which it will accept a prospectus drawn up in English. Under the revised approach, where an offer of securities to the public is made or admission to trading on a regulated market is sought only in Cyprus, the prospectus may be prepared in Greek or English, but the prospectus summary must also be made available in Greek and contain basic information for making an investment decision. The policy statement applies to entities offering securities or seeking admission to trading on a regulated market where Cyprus is the home member state (including for offerings or admissions in Cyprus, in one or more other member states excluding Cyprus, or in multiple member states including Cyprus) and where Cyprus is the host member state for admissions in multiple member states including Cyprus.

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) now allows prospectuses in English or Greek for securities offered or traded only in Cyprus. However, the prospectus summary must be in Greek and include essential investment information. This policy applies to entities offering securities or seeking admission to trading on a regulated market where Cyprus is the home or host member state.
