United Arab Emirates' General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA), working with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation and the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, announced a package of proactive services for employers that automates key pension processes through the Ma’ashi platform. Employers and insured individuals will be automatically registered in the pension system and notified of contribution obligations, removing the need for manual service requests. The initiative also covers proactive disbursement of insurance benefits, registration of Gulf Cooperation Council nationals, and automatic updates to data, with the aim of reducing paperwork and processing times. Employers will receive alerts when contributions are due, and federal and private-sector entities are expected to see greater efficiency and accuracy in pension administration through integrated digital platforms and improved data quality.
