Key points included CNV implementation of Law No. 27.739, which amended Law No. 25.246 on anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing and proliferation financing, specifically regarding the registration, supervision and regulation of virtual asset service providers. The CNV has also expanded and improved its “idóneos” examinations on a federal basis by opening new locations and increasing capacity nationwide, and highlighted the launch of an audiovisual financial education series under the CNV’s broader financial education programme.
