The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control sanctioned Italy-based Autistici Inventati, U.K.-based Palestine Action, transnational group Masar Badil and two Masar Badil leaders under its counterterrorism authority. Treasury designated Autistici Inventati and Palestine Action for providing support, goods or services for acts of terrorism, and Masar Badil for acting for or on behalf of the previously sanctioned Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network. Treasury identified Autistici Inventati as a provider of digital infrastructure and services to violent extremist groups, including sanctioned organizations, and cited Palestine Action’s support for attacks on U.K. defense and military facilities. It described Masar Badil as linked to Samidoun and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, and designated Germany-based Zaid Abdulnasser and Brazil-based Rawa Alsagheer as Masar Badil leaders. U.S.-linked property of the designated persons, and entities they own 50% or more, is blocked, while transactions involving them are generally prohibited and may expose foreign financial institutions to secondary sanctions.
