The Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan announced that a delegation from Tajikistan led by Finance Minister Fayziddin Kakhhorzoda has arrived in Kyrgyzstan on an official visit. The delegation is due to take part in the 28–29 May meeting in Bishkek of finance ministers and heads of central or national banks from Shanghai Cooperation Organisation member states, as well as the third consultative council on creating an SCO Development Bank. The visiting delegation was formally received at Manas International Airport by First Deputy Finance Minister Talas Aidarbek uulu. The ministry also noted that 2026 marks the 25th anniversary of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.
