The Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC) and the International Financial Corporation (IFC) co-organised a capacity-building workshop on Green, Social, Sustainability, Sustainability-linked and Transition Bonds (GSS+ Bonds) to support transition finance and strengthen market readiness for GSS+ bond issuance. The session targeted financial institutions and corporations, focusing on basic knowledge and practical tools for sustainability-linked and transition bond issuance. It was held under the high presidency of SERC Director General Sou Socheat and IFC Cambodia Country Resident Representative Towfiqua Hoque, and framed GSS+ issuance as a means for potential issuers to access new funding sources, improve reputation and financial standing, and contribute to positive environmental outcomes.
