The approval allows the institution to expand its operating scope while remaining focused on retail lending and deposit products. The change reflects the firm's growth strategy and follows an SBS assessment of the viability of its business model, the suitability and experience of its shareholders and senior management, and compliance with prudential requirements on solvency and integrated risk management. Financiera Efectiva has more than 25 years of operations, a loan portfolio of more than PEN 1.3 billion and over 260,000 customers.
