The US Commodity Futures Trading Commission announced that Alan Brubaker will serve as Director of its Office of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs, placing him in a senior role responsible for the agency’s engagement with Congress and intergovernmental counterparts. Brubaker joins the CFTC from the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, where he served as a senior advisor to Chairman James Comer and worked on oversight and investigative activities across federal agencies. His previous experience also includes serving as vice president of external affairs at Prudential Financial and holding multiple roles across the US government.
