The Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) reported that Jye Dilin Menzies-Clifton, a director of Strong and Co Australia Pty Ltd, was convicted in the Mt Druitt Local Court after pleading guilty to authorising a false statement in a document lodged with ASIC. The offence related to authorising the lodgement of a voluntary deregistration form on 20 November 2021 declaring the company had no outstanding liabilities, despite knowing this was false. At the time, Strong and Co Australia Pty Ltd owed AUD 58,186.55 to the Australian Taxation Office and AUD 14,190 in lease debts to its landlord. The matter was prosecuted by the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions, and Mr Menzies-Clifton was convicted on 29 August 2025 and released without sentence on a 12-month good behaviour bond.
