The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Economy published an account of Investopia Bridge 2026, where government officials, investors and business leaders identified institutional quality, consistent economic policy and openness as central to attracting long-term capital amid geopolitical, technological and market shifts. Across 10 sessions, participants examined how these changes are reshaping capital allocation, financing models and opportunities in the new economy. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, minister of economy and tourism, called for updated economic policies, stronger public-private cooperation and more adaptable business environments. Investment Minister Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi emphasized that investors increasingly price trust based on established institutions, predictable policy and government execution. Discussions also covered the expansion of private credit, digital finance, venture capital, tokenized assets and other alternative investments, as well as deeper UAE partnerships with the United Kingdom and Africa. Minister of State Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan referenced the UAE’s USD 1 billion Artificial Intelligence for Development initiative, focused particularly on building local capabilities and supporting development priorities in Africa.
