The International Association of Deposit Insurers (IADI) announced it has surpassed 100 members following the Executive Council’s approval of five new membership applications. The new members are the Compensation Scheme of German Private Banks (Germany), Depositor Compensation Scheme (Malta), Deposit Guarantee and Resolution Fund (Mauritania), Deposit Insurance Fund (Republic of North Macedonia), and Virgin Islands Deposit Insurance Corporation (Virgin Islands). The update also flagged other community items, including the Bank Guarantee Fund’s 2025–2030 operational strategy, a Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation press release on increasing maximum deposit insurance coverage, and a members-only summary note from the FSB-FSI-IADI Resolution Conference held in Basel on 29–30 October 2024. IADI also listed upcoming events, including a research webinar on digital innovation in money and the role of deposit insurance, the 82nd Executive Council meeting hosted by the Croatian Deposit Insurance Agency, and an IADI–Program on International Financial Systems virtual policy seminar.
