The Argentina Securities Commission (CNV) reported that its president, Roberto E. Silva, attended the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) 148th Meeting of the Committee on Financial Markets and the second OECD Financial Markets Week in Paris, representing Argentina. The OECD Committee meeting, held from 2 to 7 March, focused on strengthening capital markets, the outlook for global financial markets, and digitalisation and finance. Topics included developments in international financial markets, global debt and its implications for financial stability, regulatory trends and emerging market challenges, and financial policy analysis and international cooperation frameworks. Alongside the meetings, Silva attended the presentation of the OECD Global Debt Report 2026 and a roundtable on global financial markets. CNV linked Argentina’s participation to its formal OECD accession process, which began in 2024.
