The Angola Capital Markets Commission approved the registration of the Standard Rendimento+ Fundo Especial de Investimento em Valores Mobiliários Fechado, a new closed-end special investment fund in securities. The fund’s stated objective is to offer investors an alternative for portfolio diversification, targeting competitive returns compared with traditional short-term placements such as bank deposits. Its investment policy is to allocate capital to opportunities in Angola’s money and capital markets, with a portfolio that may include Treasury bonds and corporate debt securities, as well as short-term instruments such as certificates of deposit, deposits, repo transactions, commercial paper, Treasury bills and central bank securities.
