The Central Bank of Paraguay published a notice from the Executive Secretariat of the Social Security Council setting out which applicants were admitted and not admitted in the merit-based public competition to form the shortlist for the post of Superintendent of Retirement and Pensions under Law No. 7235/2023. The update also formally opens the period for applicants to file objections and claims linked to their application and the documentary verification stage. The list follows completion of the document review phase, in which the Support Committee to the Executive Secretariat assessed compliance with the exclusionary requirements in the competition rules. The results were made available through the institutional portals of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security and the Central Bank of Paraguay. Objections and claims may be filed only in relation to the applicant's own candidacy and the document verification, with a maximum deadline of two business days starting from the day after publication of the list. Once that window closes, the Support Committee will review the observations received and submit a technical report to the Social Security Council for a final decision. Completion of this stage will produce the final list of admitted candidates and allow the process to move to the curriculum assessment and interview stages under the evaluation matrix approved by the council.
