Bermuda’s Ministry of Economy and Labour reported that Minister Jason Hayward met with senior executives of the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) in New York City to deepen engagement with the alternative investment industry and position Bermuda as a fund management jurisdiction, including for digital asset funds. The discussions with AIMA’s Head of Americas Michelle Noyes and Senior Counsel Joseph Engelhard focused on strengthening the strategic relationship with AIMA and its members, expanding Bermuda’s market share in global alternative investment and hedge fund sectors, and supporting innovation in digital asset funds. AIMA represents more than 2,000 members across 60 countries.
