The Central Bank of Chile and INACAP will hold the regional semifinals of the 2026 Financial Education Olympiad from Aug. 4 to 14 at six INACAP campuses across Chile. The competition will involve 28 teams of third- and fourth-year secondary students selected from more than 1,000 teams that participated in the online qualifying stage. Teams will answer multiple-choice questions and present an oral response before judges from both institutions, covering economics, personal finance, the financial system and the central bank’s role. One team from each venue will advance to the national final, except in Santiago, where two will qualify, producing seven finalists for the competition at the Central Bank of Chile in October.
