The State Bank of Pakistan published its monthly update on workers’ remittances, reporting inflows of USD 3.6 billion in December 2025. Remittances were up 16.5 percent year on year and 12.6 percent month on month. Cumulative inflows reached USD 19.7 billion in the first half of FY26, a 10.6 percent increase from USD 17.8 billion in the same period of the prior year. December 2025 remittances were mainly sourced from Saudi Arabia (USD 813.1 million), the United Arab Emirates (USD 726.1 million), the United Kingdom (USD 559.7 million) and the United States (USD 301.7 million).
