The Securities Commission Malaysia has opened applications for investED for Returning Women, a new training programme aimed at helping women re-enter the capital market after a career break. The programme is open to professionals aged 50 or below who have been out of the workforce for up to 10 years and whose last role was in the capital market or at a public listed company. The first cohort will be capped at 100 participants, primarily middle-management professionals, and will run for two months starting in November 2025, combining mentorship, career clinics, personalised guidance, practical insights and networking; participants receive a certificate and a MYR 2,000 incentive on completion. Partners include the 30% Club Malaysia, LeadWomen Sdn Bhd, Securities Industry Development Corporation, PricewaterhouseCoopers Malaysia Holdings Sdn Bhd, and Talent Corporation Malaysia Berhad, and the initiative is positioned as aligned with the Government’s Budget 2025 focus on inclusive growth. Applications run from 8 to 31 October 2025 and will be subject to a selection process before shortlisting; applications can be submitted via the investED website, and the programme also accepts CVs from the TalentCorp Career Comeback Programme database.
