The Federal Housing Finance Agency published its seasonally adjusted monthly House Price Index showing U.S. house prices declined 0.1 percent in July, while increasing 2.3 percent from July 2024 to July 2025. The previously reported 0.2 percent decline in June was unchanged. Across the nine census divisions, monthly seasonally adjusted price changes ranged from -1.2 percent in the Middle Atlantic division to +0.3 percent in the East North Central division. All divisions recorded positive 12-month changes, ranging from +0.2 percent in the Pacific division to +5.1 percent in the Middle Atlantic division. The next FHFA HPI report is scheduled for October 28, 2025 and will include monthly data through August 2025.
