Ukraine’s National Securities and Stock Market Commission approved an order setting the technical parameters for submitting and publishing financial statements in XBRL format to the Financial Reporting Center. It also approved the electronic format of the Taxonomy UA IFRS XBRL 2024 for reporting entities to use for annual reports for 2024 and interim reporting for 2025. The Commission positioned the updated format as standardising technical reporting conditions and supporting a more transparent and accountable reporting process, while reinforcing its role in managing the Financial Reporting Center and improving investor access to audited financial statements. A taxonomy file for submission of annual financial statements for 2025 is scheduled for release in November 2025. The regulator has also reiterated plans for a complete transition from 2026 to using financial statements (with relevant audit reports) and market participant management reports exclusively in XBRL format submitted through the Financial Reporting Collection Center.
