The Ontario Securities Commission announced a virtual roundtable, OSC Roundtable: Pathways to Truth and Reconciliation, to discuss its draft Action Plan for Truth and Reconciliation and to solicit input ahead of the feedback deadline of October 31, 2025. The event will be held virtually on October 21, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (ET) and is open to rightsholders in Ontario, Indigenous organizations, market participants, regulators, investors, and investor advocates. The roundtable will open with Grandmother Dorothy Peters of Aboriginal Legal Services and feature a panel including Cherie Brant (Borden Ladner Gervais LLP), Clint Davis (Cedar Leaf Capital), Carol Anne Hilton (Indigenomics Institute), Tom Hunter (Canadian Securities Administrators), Myan Marcen-Gaudaur (Scotiabank), and Scott Munro (First Nations Financial Management Board).
