The Central Bank of Costa Rica has published its Annual Report for 2024, as required under Article 16 of its Organic Law. The report reviews relevant international economic conditions for Costa Rica and assesses the country’s macroeconomic performance during the year. It also sets out the measures taken by the central bank across its main areas of responsibility, including monetary, foreign exchange and financial policies, and the national payments system. The report includes an analysis of the Central Bank of Costa Rica’s financial position and other activities undertaken to meet its objectives, while the main regulatory provisions issued in the prior year are published separately.
