The Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency is hosting representatives of the Insurance Supervision Agency of Montenegro from Sept. 8 to 10, 2026, under an EU twinning project supporting financial services regulation in Montenegro. The visit focuses on strengthening insurance supervision and alignment with European regulatory standards, particularly the Solvency II framework. Technical sessions cover the use of regulatory reporting in insurance supervision, data quality controls and the development of indicators within the Risk Assessment Framework. The program also addresses systemic risk assessment and insurance stress testing, alongside the organizational and technical development of supervisory analytical tools. The Croatian agency is participating in an international consortium led by the Deutsche Bundesbank. The two-year project runs until September 2027.
