Dubai International Financial Centre announced that asset manager Carmignac has opened a regional office in the center after receiving authorization from the Dubai Financial Services Authority to conduct regulated activities. The office is Carmignac’s first on-the-ground presence in the Middle East and will support distribution across the United Arab Emirates and the wider region, with a focus on institutional and wealth investors. Carmignac appointed Christophe Younes as senior executive officer of Carmignac Middle East Ltd. and head of Middle East. He will lead the regional expansion with support from a board that includes Habib Achkar.
