The European Financial Reporting Advisory Group has published podcast updates reviewing its main sustainability and financial reporting developments during August and September. The coverage includes the 2026 draft datapoint list for the revised European Sustainability Reporting Standards, the draft ESRS XBRL Taxonomy consultation and the European Commission’s adoption of the revised standards and the Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard. The episodes also cover the cost-benefit consultation for draft ESRS-40a, part of EFRAG’s continuing work on sustainability reporting by certain non-EU undertakings, as well as consultations on risk mitigation accounting and EFRAG’s proactive research agenda.
