The service allows users of the Elkart Mobile app to pay for goods and services abroad through Alipay+'s unified QR infrastructure, which covers more than 60 countries and regions. Payments are made by scanning a QR code directly in the Elkart Mobile app without using additional services. The central bank linked the rollout to its broader work on digital payment infrastructure, cross-border payments and modern financial services, while Interbank Processing Center continues to expand the national Elkart payment system and its international partnerships.
