The Palestine Capital Market Authority (PCMA) delivered an online lecture titled “The Future of Financial Technology: Opportunities and Challenges,” organised by Palestine Ahliya University. The session was delivered on behalf of the PCMA by Dr. Bashar Abu Zaarour, Advisor to the Director General for Development Affairs, and was attended by around 100 students and a number of faculty members. It covered recent global developments in financial technology and the current state of the fintech sector in Palestine, with a focus on developments in non-banking financial sectors and the opportunities and challenges associated with technological transformation.
