The European Central Bank and the Reserve Bank of India have signed a new Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of central banking. The agreement updates the institutions’ 2015 MoU and sets a framework for regular exchange of information, policy dialogue and technical cooperation. The updated MoU responds to internal requirements of both institutions. Technical cooperation may include joint seminars and workshops in areas of mutual interest. The signing took place on the sidelines of the Bank for International Settlements meetings in Basel.
