The Montenegro Capital Market Authority, in partnership with investment firm FINVEO MN, held an award ceremony for students from the primary school Štampar Makarije following a demo trading competition in contracts for difference (CFDs) that concluded a joint educational programme. It was the first time this type of capital markets education was organised for primary school students, and the school also received a laptop with a demo version of a trading platform. The competition ran from 10 to 23 April and followed English-language workshops covering trading basics, market analysis, and instruments including commodities and indices. Stevan Đurnić placed first, Višnja Vojvodić second and Nikola Vojvodić third, and participating students delivered presentations showcasing what they had learned. The authority indicated it will continue similar educational initiatives aimed at improving financial literacy among primary school students.
