The Australian Securities & Investments Commission has enabled email lodgement for 97% of its paper-based forms after a June release added 42 further forms, including sub-forms. The newly enabled forms account for more than 32,000 annual lodgements and extend the option to a wider range of common filings, giving customers an alternative to post with faster turnaround through reduced manual handling. The latest expansion builds on releases in 2025 and March 2026 that had already moved about 70% of ASIC's paper lodgements to email. The additional forms cover areas such as company reinstatements, corrections that cannot be lodged online, contact address appointments, foreign company accounts, court orders and resolution notices not available online. The list also includes filings linked to external administration, foreign companies and corporate collective investment vehicles. Postal lodgement remains available.
