The website displayed the company’s name, the authority’s name and a copy of Freedom Finance Global’s genuine licence certificate without authorization, creating a misleading impression that its operators were regulated. The authority stressed that copying a licence does not confer regulatory status and advised investors to verify providers through its Public Register before transferring funds or disclosing personal information.
