The Bank of Italy has made the new State Treasury Portal available as part of its Re.Tes. program in its role as State Treasurer. The portal complements and will gradually replace the Online Statements application, giving entities that hold Treasury single accounts and their treasurers, as well as holders of special accounts and Treasury current accounts, access to information on accounts managed by the Bank of Italy within the State Treasury service. The new platform adds self-registration for entities and treasurers, real-time consultation of accounting and documentary information, and tools to manage users and their authorization profiles. It is also designed to be accessible to users with disabilities and can be used on mobile devices. The transition path set out in the announcement is that the portal will operate alongside Online Statements before gradually replacing it.
