The Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe has opened recruitment for a Corporate Finance and Policy Manager in its Policy and Market Development Department. The role combines policy development and market oversight responsibilities, including maintaining market policies and guidelines, reviewing corporate actions filed with the Commission, assessing listed company disclosures for compliance with issuer requirements, and providing analysis to support regulatory decisions. The post also covers enterprise risk management, fintech engagement and regulatory sandbox testing, market research, and market development work aimed at identifying regulatory gaps and informing policy and legislative proposals. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, accounting, law, banking or an equivalent field, a master’s degree in economics, finance, banking or a related area, and at least five years of experience in corporate finance, investment or merchant banking, capital markets, or a related investments environment.
