The Bank of the Lao has opened the second 2026 state management training course for middle managers at its Banking Institute. The program is designed to strengthen the capacity of department-level and other mid-level managers to apply state policies, laws and strategic plans effectively in their work. The course brings together 34 participants from the central bank’s departments, divisions and regional offices. Training covers public personnel and civil servant management, performance evaluation, state administration within the political system, leadership and management, change management, staff training and development, civil servant ethics, official document drafting, and planning and project management. The program also includes exchanges on practical experience with lecturers from relevant ministries. The training is scheduled to run for 10 days, from July 13 to July 24, 2026.
