The Botswana Non-Bank Financial Institutions Regulatory Authority (NBFIRA) announced that it has been officially certified to the BOS ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) standard by the Botswana Bureau of Standards (BOBS), and marked the milestone at an event hosted at BOBS headquarters. NBFIRA linked the certification to a two-year programme of internal reviews, process enhancements and capacity-building under its “Ntlafatso” project, and positioned the QMS as a framework to support consistent service delivery and continuous improvement. The event included participation from Botswana’s Ministry of Finance and remarks from NBFIRA’s board leadership acknowledging support from the ministry and technical guidance from BOBS during the certification process.
