The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Governing Board approved the Governor’s appointment of professor Emir Kurtic, Ph.D. as a Vice Governor responsible for the Sector of Statistics, Foreign Debt Servicing, European Integration and Payment Systems. Kurtic is a professor at the School of Economics and Business at the University of Sarajevo and has experience in corporate and strategic management, human resources management and organisational coaching, alongside work on business development and international cooperation projects. The appointment is for a four-year term starting from 1 January 2025.
