Thailand’s Office of Insurance Commission reported that its Secretary-General, Chuchart Pramoolpol, participated in the 29th Insurance Seminar organised by the Thai General Insurance Association, centred on “Managing Emerging Risks” and the challenges facing the insurance business over the next decade. The seminar, held on 29 January 2025 in Bangkok, aimed to build awareness of shifts in the business landscape and future risk factors affecting the insurance sector, and provided a forum for senior general insurance executives, public and private stakeholders, and other insurance ecosystem participants to exchange views on risk management trends and approaches. The Office of Insurance Commission reiterated its ongoing role in promoting a stable insurance sector while strengthening management of emerging risks in the digital era, with the aim of supporting industry adaptation and public confidence in using insurance for risk management.
