The Central Bank of Cyprus has published its first prospectus, titled “Cyprus Interest Rates in a European Context: Analysis and Comparison”, providing an analytical comparison of Cyprus banking interest rates with those in the euro area. The bulletin draws on already published statistics from the European Central Bank and the Central Bank of Cyprus, aiming to give more complete information on interest rates in the banking system and how they compare across the Eurozone. The prospectus is intended to be published on a quarterly basis.
