The Central Bank of Timor-Leste published the Petroleum Fund’s second-quarter 2026 report, showing that its balance increased to USD 18.43 billion from USD 18.31 billion in the first quarter. The portfolio returned 4.05% during the quarter, exceeding its 3.99% benchmark. Gross investment income totaled USD 719.09 million, comprising USD 141.48 million in interest, coupons and dividends and USD 577.61 million from market value changes. The fund received USD 9.62 million and withdrew USD 603.80 million, including USD 600 million transferred to the Treasury Account to finance the State Budget and USD 3.80 million for investment management costs.
