Thailand Securities and Exchange Commission Bank of Thailand and Office of Insurance Commission hold Responsible Voices Connect event for finfluencer project participants

The Thailand Securities and Exchange Commission, the Bank of Thailand and the Office of Insurance Commission held the first Responsible Voices Connect event for participants from Classes 1, 2 and 3 of their joint Responsible Voices for Finfluencers project. The event, held at the Securities and Exchange Commission office on June 10, provided a forum for participants to exchange views on finance, investment and insurance with senior officials from the three regulators and to build links with both regulators and other participants. The project is designed to improve how information providers in the finance, investment and insurance sectors communicate with the public by promoting accurate and responsible dissemination of information and raising awareness among businesses that use such communicators. According to the Securities and Exchange Commission secretary-general, participants across the three classes collectively reach 34.5 million followers and have been applying the project’s information-provision guidelines in practice. The three regulators expect graduates of the program to continue acting as responsible communicators and to support stronger public understanding of financial, investment and insurance matters. Participants who meet the specified criteria will receive certificates after completing the project.
