The Argentina Securities Commission (CNV) held an institutional session at its headquarters for secondary school students taking their first steps in the capital markets, as part of Junior Achievement Argentina’s Socios programme and the CNV’s Financial Education programme. The agenda combined technical briefings and institutional presentations with a guided visit to the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange and a dialogue session with specialists. The programme covered accounting supervision, capital markets regulation, anti-money laundering prevention and how the broader financial ecosystem operates. Students also engaged directly with CNV professionals on regulatory career paths and the technical skills needed to work in an increasingly sophisticated financial environment, with CNV director Sonia Salvatierra highlighting the goal of sharing key knowledge so new participants can join the capital markets.
