The Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan has suspended the microfinance license of Shygys-Nesie Credit Partnership LLP for three months following breaches of prudential requirements and other mandatory norms or limits. The suspension was imposed under a Sept. 8 order by the head of the agency’s regional office in Oskemen. During the suspension, the firm may not enter into new microcredit agreements, extend existing agreements or amend their terms. It must continue to meet its obligations under previously concluded agreements, while clients remain responsible for outstanding obligations to the firm.

The firm cannot issue, extend or amend microcredit agreements but must continue meeting its existing contractual obligations.
