The Reserve Bank of Australia published its balance sheet at the close of business on July 29, 2026, showing total assets and liabilities of AUD 360.844 billion, an increase of AUD 646 million. On the asset side, Australian dollar investments rose by AUD 4.045 billion, mainly reflecting securities transactions, while gold and foreign exchange fell by AUD 3.062 billion, primarily due to transactions in those assets. Exchange Settlement balances increased by AUD 8.404 billion, partly offset by declines of AUD 5.533 billion in other deposits and AUD 2.563 billion in other liabilities.
