The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic’s Osh regional office held an offsite lecture for law students at Osh State University, presenting information on the central bank’s role and core functions and a range of consumer finance topics. The session covered the history of the national currency, its development stages and security features, types of loans, deposits and savings, and the expanded use of QR codes for making payments. Participants were also shown how to activate and remove a self-imposed ban on obtaining credit in the “Tunduk” application.
