The Angola Capital Markets Commission participated in an event on financial education and the capital markets at the Instituto Superior Politécnico Metropolitano de Angola (IMETRO), reaffirming its focus on financial literacy through its Financial Education Programme. Around 200 university students attended the session, organised by Academia de Contas. The Commission’s representative, Márcia Domingos, presented on how the capital markets function and their role in Angola’s economic development, alongside contributions from Afrigroup Angola CEO Ana Cristina Costa and a roundtable moderated by external auditor Rodrigo Ribas of C&S on challenges and opportunities in promoting financial education and conscious investing.
