The International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation Trustees have named former International Sustainability Standards Board Vice-Chair Jingdong Hua and board member Hiroshi Komori as senior advisers to ISSB Chair Emmanuel Faber following the end of their board terms on Sept. 30, 2026. In the unpaid roles, they will provide strategic advice and continue supporting stakeholder engagement. The Trustees’ Nominating Committee is finalizing its process for ISSB member reappointments after completing the Foundation’s five-year operating and financing plan and senior leadership succession arrangements. Other board members whose terms ended on Sept. 30 will remain in their roles until the process is completed, with a further update expected shortly.

The International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation has named Jingdong Hua and Hiroshi Komori as unpaid senior advisers to ISSB Chair Emmanuel Faber after their board terms ended. Other ISSB members whose terms also expired will remain in place while the Foundation finalizes its reappointment process.
