In a statement welcoming the company to the centre, Dubai International Financial Centre said Lianlian DigiTech Co., Ltd. has obtained a payment services licence from the Dubai Financial Services Authority and is operating from DIFC as its licensed regional headquarters in the Middle East. The move expands Lianlian’s regulated footprint in the region and supports its cross-border payment and settlement operations. From DIFC, Lianlian plans to work with local banking partners to deliver more localised payment solutions and support fund flows within the region and across international markets. The company said it holds 68 payment licences and related qualifications across key markets and operates a payment network spanning more than 100 countries and regions, while DIFC said the addition strengthens its position as a platform for Chinese firms.
