The Securities and Exchange Commission of the Republic of North Macedonia has concluded an agreement with UKIM to promote joint activities and establish a coordinating body to monitor implementation of agreed initiatives on vocational, non-formal education for first- and second-cycle students in economics, finance, business and financial law, capital markets, and financial instruments. Building on a Memorandum of Cooperation dated October 2021, the agreement covers cooperation to innovate university curricula across economics and law faculties and related institutes on topics including capital markets, financial instruments, corporate finance, corporate governance and securities. Planned activities include updating teaching content with current data and examples, involving industry experts, organising study visits, simulations, trainings and research, promoting trainings organised by the Securities and Exchange Commission, jointly preparing teaching materials, and integrating practical experience into teaching. The parties will also consider a joint digital platform for financial education and potential joint internships, scholarships and student employment.
