The Central Bank of Brunei Darussalam (BDCB), together with the Ministry of Education, concluded the two-day National Financial Literacy Day (NFLD) 2025 Financial Awareness Roadshow for secondary school students under the theme “Money Smart, Digitally Safe”, closing with a ceremony at Sekolah Tinggi Perempuan Raja Isteri Hall. The programme combined interactive learning with booth-based activities in a “Financial Maze” covering financial management, savings and investment, digital payments, retirement planning, entrepreneurship and financial consumer protection, supported by participation from a range of public agencies and financial-sector organisations. The closing ceremony included prize-giving for the FIN-novators competition, with awards made in separate teachers’ and students’ categories, and the organisers reported participation of more than 2,000 students from Years 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12 across all four districts, including students from remote and underserved catchment areas.
